1. Overview

FeedRoas (“we”, “us”, or “our”) is a product feed optimization tool that helps merchants prepare CSV data for Google Shopping and Microsoft/Bing Shopping. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Data We Collect

Product CSV data

When you upload a CSV or Shopify export, the file is processed entirely in-memory in your browser session and via our API. We do not store your product data on our servers after your session ends. No product CSV is written to a database or persistent storage.

AI optimization requests

Product titles, descriptions, and attributes are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic's Claude) to generate optimized copy. These requests are made over HTTPS. We do not use your product data to train AI models.

Usage analytics

We may collect anonymized usage statistics (page views, feature usage frequency) to improve the product. This data does not include your product catalog or personally identifiable information.

3. How We Use Your Data

• To process your CSV and generate an optimized feed during your session
• To power AI-driven title and description rewrites via our API
• To validate your feed against Google Merchant Center and Microsoft Merchant Center requirements
• To improve the accuracy and performance of our field mapping and optimization features

4. Data Retention

Product data uploaded to FeedRoas is not retained beyond the duration of your active browser session. We do not maintain a database of customer product catalogs. If you have an account (paid plans), account metadata (email address, billing info) is retained for the duration of your subscription and handled by our payment processor in accordance with their privacy policy.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Anthropic (Claude AI)— Powers the AI title and description optimization. Subject to Anthropic's usage policies and privacy terms.
• Stripe — Handles payment processing for paid plans. Card data is never transmitted to FeedRoas servers.
• Vercel — Hosts the FeedRoas application infrastructure.

6. Cookies

FeedRoas uses minimal cookies necessary for session management and authentication on paid accounts. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; however, some features may not function correctly without them.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• The right to access personal data we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your account data
• The right to data portability
• The right to opt out of non-essential data processing

8. Security

All data transmissions between your browser and FeedRoas are encrypted via HTTPS/TLS. We follow industry best practices to protect any account data we hold. However, no internet transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

FeedRoas is a business tool intended for use by adults (18+) operating e-commerce stores. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Continued use of FeedRoas after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
